ABOUT
Professional Background
In the early 1980’s I remember wishing there was a school where I could study the human consciousness energy field. Little did I know that there was one that was started during this time by Barbara Brennan, the author of the book Hands of Light. I went on to pursue a 32 year career in education. During that career, I worked with students from pre-school through graduate level, as well as providing professional development to adults. I now realize that this career provided me with the opportunity to develop my skills and bring my gifts into the world. When I retired I started exploring and discovered Barbara Brennan’s books at a workshop. I also located the school that she founded - the Barbara Brennan School of Healing! I enrolled in and completed the 4 year Brennan Healing Science Practitioner Program.
This past year I re-injured my back in the process of moving. I experienced tremendous pain in my right leg and realized that I was going down the “rabbit hole” of being in a cycle of constant fear of that pain and how it was and would impact my life. I discovered Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a research-based approach to eliminate chronic pain. After using PRT on my own pain, I pursued the training certification to integrate it into my practice so that I could help others who were experiencing chronic pain.
